Feed your child’s imagination with a morning of discovery, where children can sing songs, listen to stories, dress up, make masks, make new friends and generally have lots of fun!
The sessions are planned and themed to ensure that the children build a rounded skill set and access the essential life skills that engaging in the arts encourages.
Our aim is to:
* Build confidence and development in early years
* Strengthen parent/carer child bonds, providing a positive focus for shared experience and communication
* Provide a fun, safe and relaxed environment to engage children with the arts from a young age
* Develop social skills and fire little imaginations
Sessions run from 9.30am-10.30am during term time on Saturdays and are suitable for children from 6 months to 6 years.
Each term covers ten to twelve sessions, depending on the school term and costs £20, with one adult per child.
Stafford Gatehouse Theatre Summer School
Every year Stafford Gatehouse Theatre runs a Summer School programme, where young people can gain experience rehearsing and performing in a musical theatre production, with a professional creative team and crew.
The Summer School’s previous production of ‘Take Me To The World’ was a huge success and it’s a wonderful opportunity for young people to get involved with a professional production. If your child is interested in theatre, but unable to attend the Summer School, our Gatehouse Youth Theatre shows are a wonderful introduction to what we do here at the Gatehouse – or you may wish to consider signing your child up to join the Youth Theatre programme, which runs during term time at the Gatehouse.
