How to book
It’s quick and easy to buy your tickets for the Gatehouse.
Tickets can be paid for with cash, cheque or card – and, of course, we also have gift vouchers available. Magic Beans are not accepted, even when Jack and the Beanstalk is on.
Reservations are held for five working days with any tickets unpaid after that time released back for sale (sorry!).
We do not offer the option to exchange tickets or refund money. We’re sorry you can’t make it to the show but there’s now the option to recover the full cost of your ticket (Hurray!) through our Secure My Booking scheme (see below).
Only in exceptional circumstances, as deemed by the management, will an exchange of ticket or refund be given. Returned tickets may be offered for resale but are subject to an administration charge.
All tickets are subject to a booking fee and for more information please call 01785 619080 or just pop in and see us.
Secure My Booking
Our new ticket refund protection allows you to recover 100% of the paid ticket price (including all fees order fees).
You can apply for a refund in the event of:
– Accident, injury, or illness including COVID-19
– Severe weather preventing travel to the venue
– Travel delays due to breakdown or public transport failures
– Plus much more
For a worry-free purchase, protect your tickets when you place your order – as you cannot add this cover later.
Discounts and Concessions
Concessions are available for many performances and apply to children under 16, full-time students, people over 60 and people claiming unemployment benefit.
Proof of status may be required for concessionary tickets. Concession prices are shown in brackets where they apply.
Family tickets are for 2 adults, 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children (not available on all performances/events). Tickets for infants aged Under 2 years (Bless!) are available for selected performances.
For many performances group discounts are also available for parties of 20 or over. For parties of 200 or more, larger discounts are available. For 2,000 tickets, frankly, we’ll have your babies.
Speaking of which, if you’re bringing a little one to sit on your knee, a ‘Babes in Arms’ ticket must be booked by the adult when buying tickets.
Children using a seat will be required to pay the normal ticket price, but may well qualify for a concession depending on the show. Please ask the Box Office for further details (honestly, they’re nice as pie) on 01785 619080.
