Dutch cellist Hanneke Rouw brings her Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and UK tour to the Gatehouse this year. Hanneke has been playing cello since the age of 8, and has studied extensively, gaining inspiration from conversations with internationally-renowned cellists such as Stephen Isserlis and Anner Bijlsma. Hanneke is collaborating on this tour with pianists Masha Galperina and Sofia Vasheruk. The repertoire will include Rachmaninoff, Cello Sonata, Op. 19 in G minor, and Brahms, Cello sonata No. 1, Op. 38 in E minor.
